11\/16\/2021<\/strong>\u00a0Holly and Hill were found stranded in rocks, wrapped in monolfilament, entangled together.\u00a0The fishing line was embedded in their front flippers.\u00a0They were transported to Volusia County Marine Science Center for triage.\u00a0They had blood work done and were given subcutaneous fluids and injectable antibiotics.<\/p>\n

11\/17\/2021<\/strong>\u00a0Holly and Hill were transported to Mote for rehabilitation.\u00a0They both have fibropapilloma tumors and will need surgery at some point to remove the tumors.\u00a0They were put in rehab. pools in shallow water.\u00a0<\/p>\n

11\/19\/2021\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Turtle had x-rays and blood work done.\u00a0Injectable antibiotics will be given until blood values improve.\u00a0Turtle is eating all seafood offered.<\/p>\n

12\/1\/2021<\/strong>\u00a0Holly is eating well and swimming normally.\u00a0Depth of tank is increased to full.\u00a0Her white blood cell count is rising, so she was switched to an oral antibiotic and a different injectable antibiotic.<\/p>\n

12\/12\/2021<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Holly was sedated for surgery and the fibropapilloma tumors were removed using a surgical laser.<\/p>\n

12\/24\/2021<\/strong>\u00a0Holly is recovering well following surgery.\u00a0She is active and eating well.\u00a0She is still on an oral antibiotic daily.\u00a0<\/p>\n

01\/15\/2022<\/strong>\u00a0Holly is healing well following her surgery.\u00a0She is eating well and gaining weight.\u00a0She is still on antibiotics due to an elevated white blood cell count.\u00a0She is now sharing a tank with Hill.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

01\/24\/2022<\/strong>\u00a0Blood values have improved, so antibiotics were discontinued.\u00a0Will recheck bllod values in 2 weeks.\u00a0Holly is active and eating well.<\/p>\n
