Hailing from Illinois, he fell in love with aquatic ecosystems by fishing and diving throughout the country. At UW-Madison, Logan applied focus to limnology, studying the conservation and restoration of freshwater ecosystems. After interning with Mote\u2019s Coral Restoration Program in the fall of 2022, he continued to practice coral aquaculture research in the Florida Keys.
