{"id":16887,"date":"2025-02-09T06:45:32","date_gmt":"2025-02-09T11:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mote.org\/animal-patients\/brlit\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T23:32:29","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T04:32:29","slug":"brlit","status":"publish","type":"patient","link":"https:\/\/mote.org\/animal-patients\/brlit\/","title":{"rendered":"Brlit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>01\/25\/2025<\/strong>  Over 120 juvenile green sea turtles stranded within a few days due to cold stun and were triaged at the Sea Turtle Hospital at Whitney Lab in St. Augustine, FL.   Due to lack of space and continuing strandings coming in, <span style=\"color:#4d5156\">Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) coordinated transport of turtles to other facilities, including Mote, for continued rehabilitation.  <\/span><br \/>\n<strong>02\/08\/2025<\/strong><span style=\"color:#4d5156\">  All east coast cold stun turtles are eating on their own.  After being slowly warmed over days, they are now swimming in 77 degree water and their rehab. pools are at full depth.
