Michael Nystrom came to Mote Marine Laboratory in 2001, and is he is responsible for aquaponics, recirculating system design and providing general scientific support at Mote\u2019s Aquaculture Park (MAP). Nystrom loves brainstorming unique and creative ways to solve scientific and constructional design challenges, and through more than 17 years of research, he has garnered an extensive range of aquaculture knowledge including live feeds culture, larval and fingerling production, broodstock management and the construction and design of recirculating systems.
