08\/25\/2025<\/strong> “Bellhaven” was found washing ashore in Venice and reported to FWC. MML Stranding Investigation Program volunteer and staff responded and recovered for rehab.\u00a0The turtle\u00a0appears in good body condition with no obvious injuries.\u00a0Behaviorally, the turtle appeared neurologic with some tremors observed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

09\/18\/2025<\/strong> “Bellhaven’s” neurologic signs have improved and is eating well. The turtle is currently receiving antibiotic injections as well as calcium supplementation to improve bloodwork. <\/p>\n
