{"id":6250,"date":"2024-04-15T19:31:50","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T23:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mote.org\/animal-patients\/frigg\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T23:33:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T04:33:17","slug":"frigg","status":"publish","type":"patient","link":"https:\/\/mote.org\/animal-patients\/frigg\/","title":{"rendered":"Frigg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>07\/11\/2023\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Turtle was found floating offshore from Casey Key Road in Osprey.\u00a0Turtle was very lethargic and minimally responsive so will be dry-docked overnight.\u00a0Had blood work done and was given subcutaneous fluids.<\/p>\n<p><strong>07\/12\/2023<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg passed her swim test this morning and is now in very shallow water.\u00a0Ate a squid and shrimp today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>0715\/2023<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg is very active and swimming normally, so her tank depth was raised to half full.\u00a0She defecated overnight and there were crushed shells present, indicating she had been recently eating.\u00a0Slowly increasing the amount of food offered daily.\u00a0She is not currently foraging, but will eat from feeding tongs if coaxed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>07\/22\/2023<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg is now foraging her full diet daily.\u00a0Her tank depth was raised to full.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>08\/10\/2023\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg continues to do well.\u00a0Her diet is being increased in hopes of her gaining weight.\u00a0She is eating consistently.\u00a0She was given a de-wormer due to an elevation in eosinophils, which can indicate a potential parasite burden.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>09\/02\/2023<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg continues to gain weight.\u00a0Blood values are trending normal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>09\/08\/2023<\/strong>\u00a0Frigg and Freyja were released at Lido Beach today!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>07\/11\/2023\u00a0\u00a0Turtle was found floating offshore from Casey Key Road in Osprey.\u00a0Turtle was very lethargic and minimally responsive so will be dry-docked overnight.\u00a0Had blood work done and was given subcutaneous fluids.&nbsp;<span class=\"ellipsis\">&hellip;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":6251,"template":"","class_list":["post-6250","patient","type-patient","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Frigg | Mote Marine Laboratory &amp;
