Exemplary Fellows may be invited to join Mote as Staff Scientists upon completion of their initial appointment.<\/p>\n<h2>About Mote<\/h2>\n<p>Mote Marine Laboratory\u2014an independent, nonprofit, marine science institution founded in 1955\u2014is dedicated to nurturing the best and the brightest minds in marine science and technology fields, a key priority in our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mote.org\/about\/reports\/#strategicplan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Beyond 2020 Vision &amp; Strategic Plan<\/em><\/a>.
